Yuletide: Police makes history, shares money to residents in Enugu (Video)
Nigeria police have broken a record after being spotted celebrating Christmas with some residents in Enugu State.
In the spirit of a festivity, personnel of the Nigeria Police Force were seen at a park in the state gifting an unspecified amount of money to passengers in a tricycle.
This has since stirred commendation from Nigerians on social media requesting the gesture be extended to all states.
This is coming moment a video clip I’m circulation shows some US cops at traffic points celebrating Christmas with $1000 cash.
Embracing the challenge, their counterparts in Africa appears ready with a first clip emanating from the Eastern part of Nigeria.
Recall, the police department that seem to be friendly had maintained unfriendly records, ranging from extortion, harassment, unprovoked shooting, and killing. May have reason to make a change.
Meanwhile, the Federal government had announced an over 20% increase in the police salary. Nigerians expect to see more good news after staging a protest last year to improve their welfare and halt criminal activities.
