Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor has mourned two victims, Izuchukwu Nwato fondly referred to as Mission and Mathew Nwokolo killed by those he described as ‘assassins in police uniform’ at his residence.
In a statement shared on his Facebook page on Wednesday 8 January 2020, the barrister decried the demise of both innocent souls, said they paid the maximum price to keep him alive.
He said they died not because of any crime but trying to protest over the presence of SARS operatives who invaded his house with an APC armoured vehicle.
He refuted the police claim that they were in his house to investigate the commission of a crime,e maintained that the police officers were in a mission to kill him in fulfilment of the bid with Emeka Orakwue Offor and others to see him dead.
He said the bereaved families of both victims, Mr Mathias Nwangene and Jude Okafor are yet to discover the remains of their late children, noting that the police made away with the corpses in a quest to cover up the alleged crime committed by the Nigeria Police Force.
Ejiofor, who affirmed that both received bullets meant to kill “pray that you will revenge your death even in the grave. My heart bleeds”
