An emanated clip online has clarified why Nigeria was metaphorically called a zoo and Animal Kingdom by Nnamdi Kanu.

The audiotape extracted from the past programmes of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) anchored by her leader and Director of Radio Biafra, Kanu sheds some light using patients in a hospital’s Intensive Unit.

According to him, if one has seen the dying patients at the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) the electric-powered machines are specifically used to resuscitate half-dead bodies.

“Once you go to the IC Unit (of course you don’t have it in the zoo) Intensive Unity. One funny thing they do, is they pump electricity into that person. And when they want to do it the person applying the electric shock will be protected and others will run away. Understand this very carefully.

“Do you know why they’re doing it? Because those who’re living, those are well, if you give them that dose of electricity it may damage them but to This person whose heart is no longer beating os dying. They need an electric shock to wake them up.

In application, Kanu said that is exactly what he is doing trying to re-ignite the consciousness of people in view to be liberated from what is holding them down.

“The same thing happens in real life. That is the reason why we do things the way we do them. That was why I called Nigeria a zoo and why called Nigerians animals. Because you’re dead. I need to wake you up. I need your consciousness to rise up to realize that you’re in a mess.

“And because it took you many many years to understand it that is why you’re in the mess you’re into today.
