In what appears to be a disappointing hearing at the federal high Court Abuja the legal defense of the embattled leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu expresses anger.

Amid heavily armed personnel of the Nigerian security, particularly the DSS, flooded premises of High Court, Kanu was conveyed into the court.

The seating was tense following a walkout by Defence lawyers after some of the team members were denied access to the courtroom by the Department of State Security.

Upon announcement of his case, the IPOB leader confronted the presiding judge, Justice Binta Nyako over the refusal of US defense lawyer, Bruce Fein.

He noted that the legal personnel was in charge of his case in the US and was present to witness his court proceedings.

An attached clip indicates the moment Mazi Kanu and an officer of the DSS had a light altercation over denial of his representatives into the room.

He was overheard questioning the security man what would happen if his instruction is not adhered to.

However, Prof Aloy Ejimakor, special adviser on legal matters to Nnamdi Kanu has expressed dissatisfaction with today’s seating.

He started the group is to take decisive and urgent measures following an ” arbitrary adjournment of the case after locking out defendant’s legal team. Watch
