Watch As IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu Arrives Court
Watch a relieving moment leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was conveyed to the court.
Massively surrounded by heavily armed security operatives, Kanu walked down and was cheered by supporters.
Kanu is currently facing a trial on treasonable felony, possession of firearms, and belonging to an unlawful organization.
Statement by AGF has disclosed the charges against Kanu would be increased on criminal activities.
Kanu, who was believed to be rearrested in Africa was brought to court late last month and he pleaded not guilty.
The arrest, which suggests rendition, according to his legal representatives, has since sparked controversy, threat, and consistent protest across the world calling for his release.
Earlier, police officers within federal High Court Abuja barred journalists, observers including IPoB members found standing in anticipation
Some members of the group, mainly Jewish worshippers were arrested and taken to police custody. The number of the victims is not ascertained yet.
