Video: Soyinka join IPOB, says President Buhari, not in charge of Aso Rock, Nigeria

Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, has taken the path of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari is not in charge of Nigeria.

The Nobel Laureate remarked during press sessions with newsmen, PlusTv Africa on Thursday.

Soyinka was responding to an open letter written to Buhari by the retired colonel and the before Military Administrator of Kaduna, Umar Dangiwa regarding the lopsided appointments in the country.

The former Administrator, In the letter, condemned Buhari of assigning major sensitive works to only people from Northern Nigeria into office.

He referred to a few instances to back up his statements and advised Buhari to avoid rejecting Christians and Southern people.

In Soyinka’s words: I have said this before. I don’t believe there is really anybody in charge in Aso Rock. I’ve been studying the trend over the past year and a half and I believe this president is not in charge of this nation, in so many aspects and directions.

“It is not the fact alone, we know the history of this. We know what it has caused the nation and we know it isn’t over yet. And you say you are launching an enquiry. That’s not enough.”

Recall that IPOB under Mazi Nnamdi Kanu had said President Mohammadu Buhari Buhari died in a London hospital in 2017 after suffering brain disease.

Kanu further claimed that Buhari was replaced with an Impostors from Sudan, Jubril by a set of Cabal in Aso Rock led by late Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.

Before the official declaration Kyari’s death, the IPOB leader predicted said both the Jubril, Chief of Staff, and Osinbajo were infected with COVID-19 subsequently noted demise of both while the Vice President is missing.

Meanwhile, former leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) and Buhari’s close friend, Buba Galadima had also insinuated months ago the man in Aso rock is not the Buhari he knew.
