Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has alleged that order to close borders by federal government has prompted smuggling of rice and other products through Northern Nigeria.
Kanu, who was speaking on Radio Biafra on Monday during the evening programme, revealed this, dropped video footage.
The federal government had on Tuesday 20 August 2019 ordered for the impromptu closure of one of the busiest borders, Seme, after some truckloads were intercepted, loaded with prohibited tramadol and codeine in Lagos on August 16.
Kanu made the video disclosure on his official Facebook page blasts Igbo politicians, the federal government, urged supporters to remain consistent in the struggle of restoring Biafra.
