Two Northerners parading as Unknown Gunmen arrested in Imo
The dual, Danlladu G, and Bamaiyi G both from North-west, were apprehended by the state police with AK47 and military camouflage.
According to Police, they both have been terrorizing Imo State and residents as unknown attackers.
You would recall, major attacks in the Eastern part of the country had always been hinged on agitators, mainly the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The leading Biafra agitators, IPOB had overly refuted accusations of attacks put on them, noting they are peaceful.
Lately, the group’s leadership under Nnamdi Kanu launched an armed unit, Eastern Security Network, following incessant killings, rape, and kidnapping recorded in major rural communities in the rural areas particularly bushes and farmlands.
There have been a number of security breaches on police facilities, killing of safety agents.
The criminals are held with the police command for further investigation including the recovered items.
