Twenty-one travelers abducted in Kaduna-Kachia road
No fewer than twenty-one (21) persons said to be traveling along Kaduna-Kachia road reportedly have been whisked away by unknown gunmen in uniform.
Based on gathered information, a councilor from Southern Kaduna and many others successfully escaped from the kidnappers and ran through the bush.
As of the time of compiling this report, no security agencies have spoken or divulged information on the troubling situation.
A source close to DAILY POST said the ugly event transpired late Friday night by strange men on military camouflage.
“It was in the late hour of Friday; the armed men who came in large numbers dressed in military uniform and abducted 21 persons along Kaduna- Kachia road at Idon village of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.”
The source additionally noted that the councilor, and victims who escaped from the abductors, later found themselves at Mararraban Kajuru, where they were assisted by the natives.
However, the councilor whose identity was not given appealed to the government to improve security presence in the area in view of maintained law and order.
