Teni runs off stage as gunshots disrupt Rivers event (Video)
Nigerian singer, Teniola Akpata, simply referred to as Teni, cut off her performance and ran for her life at a show in Rivers state.
She was performing when a struggle started between a man and one other.
A circulating clip made accessible online reveals that on the sound of gunshots, the musician ran out of the show for her personal security.
Teni is understood for her Afropop hit “Millionaire” and “Uyo Meyo”. She was believed performing her prime single “Hustle” off her current trending album when the incident occurred in Port Harcourt.
Teni was additionally featured to carry out the “Rich and Famous” evening in Owerri on December 30, 2021. She shared the occasion on her official platform.
This has since ignited a wide condemnation by the public noting the ugly act has put the Garden City in a bad light and a caution to other celebrities to consider staying off further show invitation in the state.
However, the actual cause of the disagreement between men was not shared at the time of compiling the report. The state police Commissioner has not spoken on the matter.
