Tears, Agony As DSS kill Lady in Enugu (Video)
Residents in Enugu State have expressed grief following the death of a young Baker whose life was cut short by a DSS bullet.
the ugly but regrettable incident occurred at Ologo Street in the Coal Camp suburb of the state capital on Friday, March 18, 2022.
The young promising life, Chinenye Opah who hails from the Awgu local government area of the State was hit at close range, eyewitness accounts confirmed.
The reason for the killing was not ascertained at the time of filing the report but the bereaved family noted that three bullet holes were seen.
An eyewitness said the operatives of the DSS stormed the community with two Hilux vehicles and started firing sporadically.
The deceased and mother of one, Opah on hearing the wavering shots took off but unfortunately was gunned down by one of the security men on close range.
Another villager said the DSS men were after fleeing suspects before the Baker was shot.
The matter was thereafter reported to Ekirike Police Station for confirmation. The remains was deposited at the Eastern Nigeria Medical Centre mortuary by the Police.
