Surfaced: Real ESN and killer gunmen (video)
Nigerians wonder who is behind a series of killings in the southeast despite the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) exonerating the group.
Some media platforms have continued to call IPOB, mainly vanguard, behind the unabated killing of people in the southeast.
The majority of concerned citizens have condemned the atrocities including the IPOB leader who has been under DSS detention.
However, a trending clip has suggested the Eastern Security Network is different from the gunmen ravaging the region mainly, Imo and Anambra States.
The brief video has part of it a number of youths addressing people in the market while observers hail and clap continually.
The other part shows a group of youths dressed in similar attire chasing people and warning them to stay indoors.
The group identified themselves as ‘Special Squad’ deployed to Aba to enforce a sit-at-home exercise.
IPOB members have since condemned the clip and said they are not agitators but hoodlums sent to hijack the peaceful activities of IPOB.
