Smashing journalist’s camera purely acts of cowardice – Fani-Kayode blasts Osinbajo
Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has blasted the vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) following an alleged attack on Vanguard newspaper’s journalist, Abayomi.
In a post on his official Facebook page on Thursday, the PDP stalwart said beating up the poor journalist would not warrant President Mohammadu Buhari to restore his 35 aides stripped earlier this week.
He further noted that hitting on soft targets than fighting actual fight surrounding him is an act of cowardice.
In his words: “Someone please tell Vice President Yemi Osinbajo that getting his security team to beat up Vanguard Newspaper’s Abayomi Adeshida and smash his camera won’t make President Muhammadu Buhari give him back his 35 sacked aides or restore his lost honour and glory. Hitting soft targets that cannot hit back is the coward’s way!”
Nigerians had taken to social media to register their displeasure why the Chief of staffs, Abba Kyari would boycott the vice President to take bills required a signature to the President who in London for a private visit.
They also criticised the President for failing to transfer power to his vice adding that the RCCG minister is sidelined and insubordinate.
