Mr. Nnamdi Kanu has written to Abuja’s British High Commissioner seeking the attention to the continued killing of the agitating group’s members and abuse of right.
In an open publication shared on his Facebook page on Friday with the heading ‘FULANI BARBARISM & PENCHANT FOR TERRORISM KNOWS NO BOUNDS’ said despite “terror attacks” on IPOB members two Sundays ago police still hunt for survivors in various hospitals.
He narrated that the Enugu Police Commissioner ordered for further clampdown of escaped IPOB members with injuries in the hospital where they are receiving treatment for bullet wounds.
A particular victim, Ofornedu Okoafor, Kanu said, was traced down to UNTH in the early hours of Friday by Police officers and was arrested alongside his aged father in the hospital while on treatment.
He noted that the incident has increased the number of casualties from 21 to 23.
Nnamdi Kanu, however, warned the consequences pf their actions will not be imagined if anything harm befalls the aforementioned victim.
He accused the British High Commission of supporting unjust clampdown on IPOB due to their continued silence, adding that the present activities of the Boko Haram terrorists were as a result of mindless Nigeria Police Brutality and savagery.
