Facts surrounding the demise of SuperTV Chief Executive Officer, Ataga Michael Usifo has triggered blame and counter blames amongst Nigerians and the rest of the international community querying possibility of a twenty-one (21) years old student of Unilag, Chidinma Ojukwu slain the fifty years man.
There have been media questions and answers granted by a Mass Communication undergraduate shedding light on how she managed to execute such an ugly act.
According to her statement, what seems to be a consensual relationship between both parties was never so, following unfriendly actions exhibited by the deceased.
While the court process begins soon to help unravel the true situation on the matter, accounts by the young girl should give a little bit of clue on what possibly transpired between both lovers.
The late Ataga was said to have forced himself through to have a carnal advantage at the first attempt which did not go down well with the suspect.
After some time, the Chief embarked on another attempt, according to her, degenerated into a physical disagreement. She ran into a kitchen where the man followed her and later lock up the exit door.
While he continued in his quest to have yet another access, based Chidinma’s account, was resisted and he became more brutal, ceased her which led to knife stab.
Despite the rape coloration of the case, many have come out with conspiracy theories trying to rope in the deceased wife.
In the recent interview granted to PUNCH on Sunday, the young lady denied every insinuation, maintained that the act was only her idea which falls out of uncontrollable circumstance.
She left the crime scene in the day and not night as circulated, she went along with the knife and three hundred thousand naira (N300,0000) withdrawn from the man’s account.
She further denied pictures and videos of her twerking which have painted bad on most media platforms. Chidinma acknowledged being into smoking which began before she got admission into the University of Lagos and was influenced by long-time friends.
The retrieved clip gives little or more clue on how and where the crime was committed. The environment appears to be a kitchen where Ataga’s remains were seen.
The regrettable incident occurred in a short time rented apartment and never a hotel as made to look like.
