According to reports by Igirigi Biafra, a London based member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), said Mazi Sunday Okeke, who is also IPOB member, Orumba North coordinator, was allegedly arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) over seven months ago.
He alleged the security operatives, acting under the directives of Willie Obiano, the Anambra State Governor and Chief security of the state, kept him behind the bar with severe torture.
According to him, Sunday was tortured under “handcuffed on both hands, hanged on the ceiling and they used electric shock” which led to paralysis.
He also revealed that other four IPOB members are still under the security torture but was later transferred to the state prison, said their health “are all in bad shape”.
