Tragedy struck today as one of the newly distributed tricycle (Keke Napep) by the Ebonyi State Government as a means of empowering the youths, involved in a deadly accident this morning.
According to report, the accident which took place along Royal Salt Enyigba Expressway at about 11:38 am involved the Keke Napep which was filled up with passengers and a lorry, which led to the crushing of the Keke beyond repair and the occupants, as some of the occupants are feared dead including a goat that belongs to one of the accident victims.

Meanwhile, the victims through the effort of some sympathizers who rushed to the scene of the accident had been taken to the hospital.
It would be recalled that the Ebonyi State Government few weeks ago imported hundreds of tricycles popularly known as Keke Napep and Tricycle Ambulances for the state youths empowerment scheme.
