Nnamdi Kanu wades into Edo Election, hail US, Wike, Igodomigodo for a perfect result

Nnamdi Kanu has hailed the United States for its role regarding the outcome of Edo State’s gubernatorial poll held on 19 September 2020.
Kanu, who shared on his Facebook page on Monday, said the new policy on election riggers triggered by Mary Berth Leonard, the US ambassador to Nigeria delivered the first free and fair election in the country.
He noted that what the United Kingdom, European Union failed to achieve in over 60 years was accomplished on Saturday by the courageous US ambassador.
He revealed that a couple of Visa ban on riggers, the presence of Rivers State governor and PDP’s campaign Chairman, Nyesom Wike, and contribution from ‘Igodomigodo people created a perfect result from the poll.
In a separate post, SCANNEWS24 earlier reported that former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha had attributed the Godwin Obaseki’s victory at the poll to people’s resistance against injustice.
Rochas blamed Adams Oshiomhole, Hope Uzodinma for Ize-Iyamu’s misfortune, said they have nothing to offer.
In the same vein, former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar had congratulated Obaseki, PDP, and the people of Edo state for the success achieved last week at the poll.
Atiku said the defeated will lead to the end of godfatherism in the state, called on the governor to extend a hand of fellowship to the opposition parties, mainly from his closest rival, Ize-Iyamu.SOURCE: Scannews24.com
