An angry Nigerian, Peter Agba Kalu has blasted military for deploying soldiers to the community of Mazi Nnamdi, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), queried reason behind the presence of the army at the major roads.
Kalu, in a viral open letter availed to SCANNEWS 24 with heading “The Fear,Of Nnamdi Kanu” noted that Nigerian army is set to repeat ploy initially used to provoke members of the secessionist group before declaring the widely condemned exercise in the South East, Operation Python Dance and later tagged them, terrorists.
He urged on Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and various major Igbo leaders to call the military to order and allow the bereaved family and the community to bury their parents and son and wife, Royal Highnesses, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and Ugoeze Sally Kanu.
Kanu’s appeal is coming barely 24 after soldiers reportedly blocked some major ways leading to the home Nnamdi Kanu, hampering both some small scale businesses and burial preparation.
He advised the military to re-direct their attention to multiple series of bomb explosions, killings and destruction of millions worth properties by both Herdsmen, Bandits, rampaging Boko Haram terrorists and kidnappers.
To bring home his point, Kalu said the killing of Christians and Muslims in South West and Northern Nigeria and other regions needs improved human capacity both in Police, military and others to help squash over one thousand three hundred terror cells scattered across Nigerian states.
He, however, revealed that the Afaraukwu village, the hometown of IPOB leader has enjoyed sustained peaceful atmosphere and remained same adding that it needs no heightened security presence compare to other alarming areas like Jos communities, Western Communities.
He further noted that the early deployment of military and Hardened security personnel to Afaraukwu declared military admittance to be scared of Nnamdi Kanu which proved him as one of the ‘most feared revolutionists in Africa’ in recent time.
Without recorded explosion of Bomb, arms than sustained verbal communication, Kanu has successfully shaken Nigeria from its foundation. Kalu declared.
