Nnamdi Kanu clarifies IPOB, ESN mission says “if you want war, you’ll surely get it”
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Commander of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has restated his mission goals.
In a tweet shared on Tuesday Kanu clarified that the objective for restoration of Biafra independence does not call for war or tied to ESN.
He maintained that the process IPOB has followed so far has been peaceful, and committed to nonviolence but would not be cowardly. “Let these be clear: I come in peace, not war. #IPOB is committed to non-violence, but will never be cowardly.
He further noted that ESN is serving a self-defense purpose and never offensive. “#ESN is about self-defense, not offense.
Hence, he restated that the primary mission is to restore Biafra Peacefully.
He warned to respond to any move for war if what the government wants. “My abiding mission is to restore #Biafra peacefully but if you want war, you will surely get it, sooner than later. THANK YOU.
Kanu had on Monday said what is ongoing across Nigeria currently is recolonization spearheaded by “irredentist Fulani elements” and aided by President and Nigeria Army.
He stated that the plan will be a success if the Indigenous people in both North and South do not unite to stop them through the separation of Nigeria.
