The death of the Nigerian ambassador to the United State, Sylvanus Adiewere Nsofor has been confirmed.
The London College of law graduate reportedly died in Maryland hospital, Washington DC on Thursday at the age of 85.
Nsofor, before assuming his ambassadorial duty to the United States on November 13, 2017, was a retired justice of Nigeria’s Court of Appeal.
Coincidentally, both Prof. Adebowale Adefuye and Nsofor died on active duty.
Adefuye died towards the end of his tenure as Nigeria’s ambassador to the US.
