“Nigeria has failed me” Lawyer cries out as policemen watch him fight robbers without help
A young Nigerian lawyer has narrated an ordeal on how men of the Nigerian police snubbed during an encounter with criminals in Lagos State.
The legal practitioner who identified himself as Bright Obec Okoro had shared on Monday with the caption “Nigeria have failed me“.
Narrating on the regrettable ugly incident, Okoro said he was attacked robbed of his belongings in front of five (5) armed police officers right on their van at the Ikeja axis of Lagos.
According to the story, the victim was able to knock than one of the robbers, held him inside water before the cops, and was consciously expecting assistance.
Unfortunately, throughout his struggles with the robber, the men of the police overlooked and rather watch him fight like Nollywood drama-free display.
In an effort to get better attention of the officers, the victimized lawyer ran into the police van was pushed out immediately
In his words; “I was robbed today in front of five policemen in their van in Ikeja.
“I knocked down one of the robbers and held him Inside the water and called on the police but they were just there staring at me.
“I ran into their van to call them out but they pushed me out. I give up on Nigeria.
This has since stirred reactions among Nigerians, mainly friends condemning the Nigeria police which supposed to be in charge of security and friends to the masses.
