Miyetti Allah will meet their end if they don’t stay away from our territory – IPOB

The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called on Miyetti Allah to restrain their business activities from South East communities or have themselves to blame.

In a statement made accessible to SCANNEWS24 by the group’s publicity secretary, Emma Powerful on Thursday, 17 September 2020 advised Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) to steer the region, adding that their activities are beyond business.

IPOB’s warning was coming week after the breeders’ association, in a statement, addressed the operation of Fulani Herdsmen within the Eastern region, brokered peace with host communities.

MACBAN had clarified that the activities of the body in the area are wholly on business interest and have the intention to kill residents or resorting in the destruction of farmlands.

Responding, IPOB described Miyetti Allah’s statement as ‘deceptive and amusing’ adding that breeders are terror sponsors known for their historic ethnic cleaning majorly in Middle Belt.

IPOB rejected any form of investment by the MACBAN and wishes not to witness activities of Fulani herdsmen, Bandits, Ansaru Terrorists, ISWAP, and others in Igboland.

In view of self-defence, IPOB leadership warned that any further attacks traced to Miyetti Allah within Biafraland will be responded with the same force.

The statement explained that herders’ bloody activities in Southern Kaduna, Middle Belt, and South East Communities is supported by individuals in Aso Rock, Nigerian army and Police operatives.

“Henceforth, any criminality traced to Miyetti Allah terrorists SHALL be resisted with equal force in the interest of self defence and preservation.

“Miyetti Allah will meet their end if they don’t stay away from our territory.

Enough is enough!”
