Minister of Police Affairs campaigned for party, says APC will takeover Sokoto soon

Mr. Alhaji Muhammadu Dingyadi, the Minister of Police Affairs, reportedly says the All Progressives Congress (APC) take over power in Sokoto State.
Dingyadi said this on Thursday in Sokoto, when he met the state, zonal and local chieftains of the party, News Agency of Nigeria reports.
Dingyadi, at the visit expressed optimism that APC will soon take over seat of power of Sokoto state and reverse “the current obnoxious trend of underdevelopment and neglect.”
While optimism, he said President Muhammadu Buhari would fulfil his key campaign promises of improving the economy, tackling the myriad of security challenges, as well as sustaining the ongoing anti corruption fight.
The minister, however, seemed for the support of all well meaning Nigerians to enable the government succeed.
He he further noted that all Nigerians were equal stakeholders in the Nigeria project and expected to collectively work towards moving the nation to the next level.
He lauded President Buhari, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, APC leaders in the state, as well as the party, for entrusting confidence in him and pledged to live above board in the discharge of his responsibilities.
The state APC Chairman, Mr. Alhaji Sadiq Achida, who was Speaking earlier, said the visit was to felicitate with Dingyadi on his well deserved ap pointment.
