LIVE: Nnamdi Kanu’s repatriation, UK parliament on debate
Following the believed illegal repatriation of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu the UK parliament is expected to to bring up debate on the issue.
Kanu, who is a sharing dual citizenship with Britain, according to reports, believed to have illegally arrested in Kenya, detained for eight days.
Based on Ifeanyi Ejiofor, IPOB lead Counsel Kanu was tortured, traumatized and made to stay hungry for all days in their custody before handing over Nigeria authority.
AGF, Malami had addressed that Kanu’s apprehension followed a lawful protocol but failed to disclose clear details.
The repatriation has since stirred wide condemnation globally insinuating the Buhari’s led government breached diplomatic process.
However, the United Nations on human rights watch has called on Nigeria to explain circumstances in which Nnamdi Kanu was re-arrested, warned that the country is sitting on the charter it is signatory to.
Nigerians, mainly the Igbo people are longing to see the UK raise up the issue as part of her today agenda and believing positive outcome will be reached. Watch
