Joe Igbokwe Reportedly Denies His Igbo Heritage, Says He’s A Nigerian And Not Igbo
The Lagos state Commissioner nominee, Joe Igbokwe has reportedly tmdenied his Igbo heritage.
This is coming few days the Lagos State government submitted Igbokwe’s name among Commissioner nominees to be screened by state Assembly.
In a viral statement on social media, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain was reportedly said he is a Nigerian and Commissioner nominee representing Ikorodu state constituency and never an Igbo man.
The unverified post, which was earlier circulated by social media blogger, Hope For Nigeria, on Friday reads: “I AM NOT IGBO. I’m a Nigerian and Lagos state commissioner nominee representing Ikorodu”
Joe Igbo, in recent time, had been perceived to be in opposite direction in collective goal of South East region, maybe, following his political party affiliation.
Joe, who is resident in Lagos state and the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), hails from Nnewi, Enugu State.
