Is Time To Stone Buhari Out Of Government As They Requested – Abaribe Roars (Video)
Senator Enyinnanya Abaribe has reacted to the disturbing security situation in Nigeria following the incessant killing of Police and civilians, destruction of safety facilities, and many others.
In an obtained footage by #Scannews24 indicated the senator representing the Abia North Senatorial district move a motion urging the House to consider doing away with the present administration of All Progressive Congress.
Speaking on the floor of the red chamber, Abaribe clarified that Nigerians did not either elect the inspector General of Police, Chief of Staff, the Joint Chiefs, or the National Security adviser but President Mohammadu Buhari.
He traced back that Nigerians elected the President in 2015 and he reassured to tackle security challenges and was reelected in 2019. Together with the party, APC said to stone them if they fail in accomplishing their promises.
Senator Abaribe urged the legislators, is time to stone the President out of the office to have failed in his primary responsibility of securing Nigeria and the people.
Partly, in his words “we did not elect the IG, we did not elect the Chief of Staff, we did not elect the joint Chiefs and we did not elect the chief security adviser. We elected the government of APC in 2015 and re-elected them in 2019.
“The reason why we reelected them was that they continued to tell us they have the key to security and the whole Nigerians voted them in 2015 and I agreed with that.
“What I’m saying the President, is that when you want to deal with the matter you go to the head, so we will go to the government and ask this government to reassign.
“Because they can no longer do anything in this country.
“Mr. President, in conclusion, yes, Nigerians voted a government into power and that government even said ‘if we don’t perform stone us’. We’re going with the Stones to stone them out because they hey no longer working.
“Mr. President, because we have to get to the root of this matter, I can only say one thing, those who live by propaganda will die by propaganda, the senator added.
