IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu unveils vigilante outfit Eastern Security Network (Video)
People of the Southern region of Nigeria now have its vigilante security outfit, Eastern Security Network (ESN) to help complement other existing local safety bodies like Amotekun, Hisbah, etc.
What was expected from the state governors of the region was single-handedly created by the leadership of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
This was enclosed in a statement by IPOB media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful today 13 December 2020 noting that the security volunteers, EST, will protect against rampaging Fulani herdsmen and criminal elements.
He also pointed out that the outfit will routinely operate like Southwest’s Amotekun and Miyetti Allah in the North.
“The sole aim of this newly formed Security outfit known as Eastern Security Network (ESN), is to halt every criminal activity and terrorists attack in Biafraland”
Based on the statement sighted by Scannews24 sounded strict warning to attackers and invaders including armed robbers, kidnappers, advised them to relocate from the Southeast or get ready “for the worst.”
Nnamdi Kanu promised that ESN will defend the Southeast adequately, revealed that mobile numbers would be made public to enable people to call whenever they witness criminal activities in the region.
He raised alarm on a disturbing conversation of forests in the southeastern states into slaughter grounds and rape fields.
In a separate post, Kanu has counted spreading figure of the volunteers by media, urged to conduct investigative journalism that dishing out wrong information.
