√ Any Freedom Fighter In Nigeria Without Threat Of Arrest From Govt Is A Joker, Okpoko – Nnamdi Kanu
Nnamdi Kanu has responded to critics berating his style of fighting for the restoration of Biafra away from home.
Whereabouts of the Radio Biafra’s Director, since after the death of his parents, has been kept secret even as many glamours for his return to agitate for a sovereign state of Biafra from home.
In a post shared on his Facebook page, Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra justified why he choose to stay abroad in the quest to leave Nigeria.
He mocked freedom fighters believed to be in the fight for sovereignty but still residence in Nigeria, described them as jokers, adding that anyone seeking for independence without the threat of arrest experience from the government is ‘Okpoko’.
Tracing back in time, Kanu said most agitators of independence have never been at home including Biblical Moses, Prophet Mohammed, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, George Washington.
Others he mentioned include Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela, Wole Soyinka, and Ahmed Tinubu, noting that freedom fighters have only three options to embark on their journey.
He said they can accept being in Exile to intensify efforts for self-determination, remain behind bars for long term imprisonment or be dead.
However, Kanu maintained that “If your life is NOT under any threat know you that you’re not a freedom fighter, you are mere noise maker seeking cheap attention and settlement.SOURCE: Scannews24.com
