INEC Official Caught Transmit Doctored Result (Video)
A viral clip sighted by our media unit covering the ongoing general elections particularly the ones of President, Senate, and Rep has indicated the tendency of manipulation at the centre of election umpire.
The retrieved video shows staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INE transmitting to the master result register a believed altered EC8A (INE Original Result Sheet) with a white substance suspected to be a marker.
This happened at the INEC collation center, Apapa Lagos.
Some Nigerians believed to be election observers, in the clip, intersected with the yet-to-be-identified man and demanded he halts his action.
This is coming as voters complain about the difficulty to transmit results to the INEC database via the Biamodal Verification and Accreditation System (BVAS).
Conspiracy theory by complainers suspects the technical interruption is an intentional plot to allow faceless personnel to manipulate the results.
Moreso, ballot snatch, vote buying, underage voting, and intimidation has also been registered in Northern states, Lagos, and others.
