Igbokwe: Anyone who says PMB has not done well is a liar from the pit of hell
Mr Joe Igbowe, the publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state, has urged Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, stating that the president is doing well.
The APC Chieftain made the appeal when he appeared as a guest on a Channels Television’s programme on Monday, August 11, blamed the nation’s woes on the previous administrations since 1999.
In his words: “anyone with the insinuation that President Buhari’s government has not done well is a liar from the pit of hell.”
“You (PDP) were there for 16 years and we didn’t see anything. In the midst of plenty, I cannot lay my hands on anything.
“Support your leader, don’t be a distraction. Anybody who tells you Buhari is not doing well is a liar from the pit of hell given where we are coming from.” he said.
Igbokwe, who was reacting to a comment by a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ken Okolugbo, noted that the APC led-federal government has not fared well in its cardinal promises.
The PDP chieftain, Ken, accused President Buhari of favouritism in the corruption fight.
His statement reads: “I will never give a pass mark, the only pass mark I will give is in terms of security. And our security is in tatters now.
“On the issues of corruption, I have always said it that there is favouritism. Though they have made a significant progress, a lot of money has been recovered,” he said.
He further faulted the current administration of APC for not tolerating criticism while lauding the federal government for launching the Treasury Single Account to encourage transparency in governance.

Dr Ezekwesili was reported to had made the claim during an appearance on Sunday Politics with Channels TV, urging those in government to accept that the country is “not in a good place at all” as a step to solving the challenges bedevilling the nation
The president’s media aide, reacting during the programme through a phone call dismissed the claim, saying, “If the country is collapsing, it is collapsing somebody’s dream.” He urged such a person to “wake up” and rescue the dream.
“Nothing Is Collapsing,” he declared. “The country is strong, moving on”.
The president’s media man further made instatnce to 2019 election which its presidential part is still court, that the fact that democratic elections are held winners are declared.
“You win or you lose,” he said, stressing that those who lost elections were behind much of the criticism against the government.
