Igboho talks tough from detention
Embattled freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho has contended on actualizing the Yoruba nation.
The leader of the secessionist group said that the Benin Republic enjoys excess secure electrical energy than Nigeria, therefore the necessity to actualize Yoruba nation.
The freedom fighter revealed this in a statement via his spokesman, Olayomi Koiki to the public.
Koiki told Igboho believes in a short time Nigeria would not exist as the new country could be actualized.
In a message, Koiki stated: “I received a message from Chief Sunday Adeyemo, aka Igboho via his lawyer from Benin Republic, Olusegun Falola that he stands on his belief, self-determination for the Yoruba Nation because there’s nothing like Nigeria again for him.
The statement continued:
“He believes as a Yoruba man and the indigenous person of the land that it’s time for Yorubas to stand on their own as a Nation.
“He said we should check out Benin Republic enjoying regular electricity supply. That’s what we desire in the Yoruba Nation we have been agitating for and we will get there very soon. He also reiterated that the Yoruba Nation is now; there is no going back.”
Igboho is presently detained in Benin Republic.
He was just lately seized in Cotonou while making an attempt to journey to Germany.
The Yoruba nation agitator escaped Nigeria after he was announced wanted by the Department of State Services, regarding an alleged spotting of weapons in his Ibadan dwelling.
