IGBO PRESIDENCY: Umahi signifies formally moving to APC
A rumor has emanated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is making a last-minute strive to halt Governor David Umahi from leaving to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In response to the Nation, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP at a gathering in Abuja on Tuesday, November 10, attempted to prevent the Ebonyi state governor from becoming a member of the ruling party.
An anonymous source informed the newspaper that attempts to stop Umahi’s desertion were not successful.
They stated plans are already being formulated within the Ebonyi state for the governor’s deliberate desertion.
