A disturbing clip of one of the victims of rescued kidnapped Kankara school boys has indicated they were instructed what to tell the media.

A student of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State, disclosed that their kidnappers were not Boko Haram terrorists.

According to the school boy, they were told to say that the kidnappers were members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.

He uncovered this while responding to questions from Arise TV.

The correspondent of Arise TV had asked if their abductors were Boko Haram insurgents or rampaging armed bandits.

He responded: “I do not know who they are but I was told to say they’re Boko Haram from the gang of Abu Shekau.”

Also requested to know his experience: “From what I experienced sincerely they are not Boko Haram.” he added.

Over six hundred school children earlier were announced to have been whisked away from the school by believed bandits over a week ago.

Days after Boko haram militants circulated footage indicating faces of children in an undisclosed destination.

A few hours later on Friday, the boys were ferried back to the school by the captors.

Despite conflicting figures, 344 students were freed to Katsina State’s government after spending exactly a week in captivity.
