EXPOSED: Bandits Writes Churches To Shutdown For 3 Months (Video)
The menace of rampaging bandits, Boko haram, and Kidnappers keeps eating into the fibre of Nigeria despite a series of efforts by the security agencies to curb the continued criminal activities.
A shocking clip of Nigerian police confirming a purported letter distributed mainly within Church headquarters has surfaced and stirs reactions.
Before the recent bloody attack in Owo LGA, the police authority said a letter was circulated to Church headquarters and also to the police. The. Content instructed to shut down church activities in the country for the next three months (as of when it was delivered).
Believing the prompt was done by the Owo Church attackers, police in partnership with DSS are said to have embarked on an investigation to unravel the source and those behind the security threat.
However, the church, via the Christian association was advised by the security to amend their service closure hours including activities to help curtail the situation.
Both mosques and Churches are as well urged to report any suspicious movements during and after religious activities to the Police.
Security Patrol teams are deployed across centers to secure premises and worshippers against attack by criminals.
This has since heightened the tension of fear amongst the Christian community praying not to have a repeat of the terror attack carried out in Owo and Kaduna communities.
