ESN turn Herders’ Quarter into Fire Hub in Ebonyi As They Mark Two-Month (Video)

Vigilante group, Eastern Security Network has further destroyed settlements believed to belong to Fulani Herdsmen in Ebonyi State as they clock two months in operation.

A clip shared by the group’s commander, Nnamdi Kanu on Friday, 12 February indicated razing of huts with fire.

Commenting on the event, one of the operatives said “we are here to settle the Fulanis the way they like.

“Of anybody comes for this challenge must go to heaven, immediately.

“We are here to do our work. Adding that the settlers must leave the land.

Coincidentally, the safety group is said to be having its two-month anniversary since launched into operation on 12 December 2020 by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Celebrating the security personnel, Kanu, on his new page, described them as the ‘bravest of the brave’ doing their usual work.

He urged his supporters and members of the public to support the men, giving they are the reason the armed rampaging herders are relocating back to the North.

Kanu had urged the Fulani herdsmen to relocate to urban areas in view to assist ESN check activities of criminals hiding in forests.

He lamented the continued killing of farmers and the raping of mothers with their daughters on their farmlands.

The Southeast governors had earlier restated that the anti-grazing law is still in force within the region.

Affirming early last two weeks, Chairman of the Forum, David Umahi warned that every cattle movement and open grazing is banned across the states’ communities.

similarly, the Southwest governors had enforced laws against open grazing across the region.
