ESN Operatives spare cows, herders, as they are Escorted out of Ebonyi State (Video)
Operatives of the Eastern Security Network in Ebonyi State reportedly watched exiting settlers within rural areas walked off communities with their cows.
Retrieved footage made available to Scannews24 showed a huge number of cows in a chain with their headers peacefully walking down.
The ESN vigilantes, unlike their usual manner of slit throats of cows and burning hut houses, moved in company with them without any harm.
ESN was charged by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on 12 December 2020 to flush out every herdsman living in the forests and rural communities.
The order came following recorded unabated killing of mothers, fathers, rapping of women majorly farmers in the Southern states, Nnamdi Kanu said.
The IPOB leader, via the group’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful warned herders grazing within the forests rural communities to relocate to urban cities and live like patriotic Nigerians.
Since the emergence of the safety body, a number of assignments have been carried out including in Aba,n Ebonyi, Enugu states respectively.
However, open grazing is presently prohibited within southeast lands, the Chairman of Governor’s Forum, David Umahi confirmed in a statement.
The Ebonyi State governor said anti grazing law in duly enforced against grazing movement by herdsmen.
