Drama as Imam is suspended for criticizing Buhari (Video)
The intolerance of the present administration of President Mohammadu Buhari seems not to welcome the opposite view or criticism from anyone.
A popular Abuja-based Imam referred to as Sheikh Nuru Khalid, is said to have been suspended by the Mosque Committee of Apo Legislative Quarters, Abuja after a sermon on Friday condemning the neglected security issues in Nigeria.
The Imam who appeared angry while delivering his statement in a viral video suggested the 2023 general poll be suspended if security issues can not be tamed.
He pointedly recalled that during Buhari’s 2015 and 2019 campaigns respectively visited Kaduna but failed to visit the state amid the continued onslaught inflicted by armed rampaging bandits.
Khalid expressed worry on how the attackers would be so superior to be gathering intelligence to overrun a state but the government cannot.
He urged to call off the upcoming elections in the country noting the people must be known for voting only to be killed after all.
Speaking further in the retrieved clip, Khalid said Nigerians will go on with elections under conditions that security problems will be resolved. Properties and lives of the people must be protected.
Appearing more emotional, the Imam reminded that Nigerians are not animals and cannot continue to live as if there’s no government in the country.
This coming barely a week bandits attacked the Kaduna-Abuja train multiple times killing a dozen and abducting scores.
