Drama as Buhari lands in Imo (Video)
President Mohammadu Buhari’s working visit to Imo State has ignited criticism following the absence of residents as he lands at the airport.
Before the arrival, the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had implemented a sit-at-home exercise code name ‘ghost-town’.
According to IPOB, the two-day indoor order was given to observe the 13th appeal court’s hearing of the embattled leader, Nnamdi Kanu with the Federal Government.
Retrieved and sighted clip indicates few presences of individuals believed to be party members.
The visit targets to lead the president into commissioning some projects in the state by governor Hope Uzodinma.
However, Kanu’s case is simultaneously ongoing at Appeal Court, Abuja where a majority of supporters from the South East turned up.
We understand the security problems, and other related issues in Imo and believe might have caused less presence of people welcoming the president.
