The first presidential debate may have come and ended but people especially some participants would not forget quickly the unfolded drama.
It was all shades of attacks and counterattacks earlier when some Nigerians protested against the participation of running mates at the Townhall Meetings aired on Arise Television on Sunday, November 6.
What appeared as an altercation began when the key mega party presidential representatives namely, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, and Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the leading party, All Progressive Congress turned down their invitation to be represented.
Angry Nigerians presented raised their voices in harmony and requested the main speakers appear.
While the debate was on, Senator Dino Melaye who serves as Atiku’s spokesperson was busy throwing jabs at Labour Party’s Peter Obi from the floor section and it did not go down easy.
Dino had wrongly accused Obidients present behind noisy voices from the background and Obi frowned over it.
The LP candidate in a retrieved clip quickly replied to Senator Melaye to stop as he (Obi) has taken enough of his utterance. Watch below:
