President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday accepted the nomination of a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Musa, as his Chief Special Security Officer.
President’s aide, Garba Shehu, revealed this in a press release yesterday. Based on the assertion, Musa from Nigerian Police Force Zone 5, Benin City, as his last station, hails from Niger State.
“Musa’s appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Commissioner of Police, Abdulkarim Dauda,” the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity said
Dauda is, without doubt, one of the safety operatives redeployed from the Presidential Villa within the wake of the shooting occurrence that involved security aides attached to the First Lady.
Aisha and her safety aides had raged the official home of the President’s Personal Assistant, Sabiu Yusuf, in an in view to force him into 14-day isolation after his journey to Lagos.
