An angry Nigerian has taken President Mohammadu Buhari to the cleaners following a recent clampdown on #RevolutionNow protesters by the security agents.
The young man, Tope Akinyode who featured on Channels Television’s ‘Matters Arising’ programme, while responding to statement credited to Femi Adesina, appealed to Nigerians to forgive Buhari because he does not understand democracy.
He noted that the recent attack on peaceful protesters indicates that Buhari is a dictator.
The president’s aide, Adesina, responding to #RevolutionNow’s protest during an interview on Sunrise Daily on Thursday, 6 August 2020 said: “Well, was it really a protest? By my estimation, that just seemed like a child’s play because protests by their very nature are spontaneous things; they are mass things,”
Reacting in a video obtained by SCANNEWS24, Akinyode said “We have to forgive Mr. Adesina and Buhari’s government for all the things they spill, they don’t understand these, things.
He said the present administration lacks the fundamentals of democracy and rule of law “they don’t know what protest means, they can’t appreciate it.
He continued, noted that the Nigerian President, Mohammadu Buhari is a “dictator, he doesn’t respect rule of law and doesn’t know Nigerians have right to protest.
He said this motivates the present government to keep on violating a court order and referring protests by Nigerians as ‘Child’s play’.
He said that the APC government does not consider people’s feelings and head bend in under development, adding that the Revolution Now protest has uncovered the country is in a big mess.
