BREAKING: Watch As Gunmen Raze Police Station, Kill Five Operatives In Enugu (Video)
Rampage by UNKNOWN GUNMEN continued in major Southern states following a recent attack at Ezeagu Police Station in Enugu State.
The attack happened barely twenty-four hours after yet to be ascertained armed men raided the office of the Independent Electoral Commission and Police Station in Awka, Anambra State.
Police stations, security personnel, and INEC facilities, unarguably, seem to be targets of the rampaging gunmen in the South.
The forty-nine minutes footage shows damaged buildings and littered human bodies within the crime scene reportedly inflicted in the early hours of Tuesday.
Similarly, the country was thrown into mourning on Friday following a tragic plane crash involving Nigeria’s Army Chief, Attahiru, Generals, and top personnel.
The victims have since been laid to rest according to Islamic and Christian rites in Abuja military cemetery and investigation into the cause of the painful incident has begun.
But, in an eyewitness clip sent to #Scannews24, two suspected assassins said to have jumped off the crashing plane with a parachute and disappeared upon landing.
A black box which may aid the investigation has also been recovered a day after the burial. The actual cause would be ascertained and public by the appropriate government agencies.
security challenges across states in the country keep increasing daily having safety men as a target while the rest of Nigerians are left in God’s hands for protection.
The Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma has linked major attacks in the state by unknown gunmen to invaders from other states sponsored by politicians.
Ebonyi State governor, David Umahi had equally linked the continued attacks to incessant killings and raping of farmers orchestrated by herdsmen roaming with guns in the region.
He added that the recent ban on open grazing in southern states by the governors will help deuce further uprising.
