BREAKING: Southern Governors’ resolution a gang up against North – Northern Elder
Following the emergency meeting held yesterday in Lagos by southern Governors, the Chairman of ADP, Sani Yabagi expressed dissatisfaction, noted that the coming together of the southern governors is a gang up against the North, politically, security and on cattle grazing.
Sani said during an interactive programme, Politics today on Channels Television lately on Monday 5 July 2021 noting the outcome of the meeting would not encourage the unity of Nigeria which they were elected into office to uphold.
The Governors had yesterday reached a series resolution which handed out an implementation ultimatum on open grazing ban across the Southern communities.
Also reached was a decision instructing police and other security agencies to take permission from the state government before embarking on any invasion.
Outcome of the meeting also suggested next President of the country should be produced from the southern part.
Reacting further the Chairman expressed shock said it beats his imagination that such elected leaders could engage in a sitting to discuss what will stand unity of Nigeria instead of what will continue keeping the country together.
The meeting which was the second lap of the submit came days after joint security agents invaded the home of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, destroyed properties worth billions, and slain two persons.
Followed by the re-arrest of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which is believed was illegally carried out. AGF said during public address that Kanu’s repatriation was to continue his case on the High Court, noting the arrest was in order. Video
