Men of the Nigeria Police force and Nigerian military have reportedly accosted some guests heading to the burial of Eze and Lolo Okwu Kanu, parents to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The leader of the group, Kanu shared on his Facebook page with attached picture evidence, said the security personnel are currently intimidating guests coming to the funeral at his home.
In the viral series of pictures already in circulation some security officers, including soldiers were spotted at designated checkpoints while traffic intensified.
He Said both checkpoints: Aro Ngwa, Isiala Ngwa army checkpoints, and Reception Venues at Union Primarily School Afaraukwu, and Ojukwu Bunker near SARS mourners are intimated.
Presence of both security bodies has been reported deployed within Afaraukwu community and other routes leading to the village.
Through Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lawyer to IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has sent a formal warning during a press statement urging every security presence removed.
Though, the Abia State CP, Ene Okon had said to disrupt the burial if IPOB members are seen at the occasion.
However, both Jewish worshippers, IPOB members are duly represented at the ongoing funeral and no clash or security breach recorded.
