“We call on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, The Governor of Sokoto State, the Inspector General of Police and all Nigerian Security Agencies to immediately put an end to this ugly development. We gave five (5) days ultimatum to the federal government of Nigeria to provide panacea in these areas or we will embark on a peaceful protest.

“The leadership of the National Association of Sokoto East Students condemns in strong terms the Gidan Bawa Massacre.

“While we commiserated with the families of those who lost their loved ones, as well as those who have been displaced or suffered harm of any kind. We Prayed Allah S.W.A to forgive their shortcomings and give the family the fortitude to bear the great loss”.
