75 Northern groups place N100m bounty on Nnamdi Kanu
A Northern Consensus Movement has placed a hundred million bounty on the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for the continuation of his supposed court trial on treason.
The coalition made up of seventy-five (75) Northern groups on Thursday in Abuja, the county’s capital, granted a press release to journalists, indicted Biafra supreme leader, Kanu and Eastern Security Network behind recent security spate witnessed within Southeast Nigeria particularly on Northern communities.
Describing Kanu’s statements as ‘hate speech’ the groups’ spokesperson, Dr. Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu, called on the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and the European Union to speed up the repatriation of IPOB leader to Nigeria to face the charges against him.
The groups in their wisdom as ‘active citizens’ declare Kanu wanted to be apprehended strong and hearty, without a scratch back to the country.
They further place a 100 million reward to anyone or person that assists to get Kanu for the purpose.
They therefore urged the enlisted countries to humbly and kindly respect Nigeria’s sovereignty and facilitate the request as expected in view to “face his treason, and possibly a fresh terrorism and genocide charges against innocent citizens of Nigeria.” Video
