BREAKING: IPOB Declares 14 September ‘Saboteur Day’ To Honour Fallen Heroes

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared tomorrow, 14 September 2019 a ‘Saboteur Day’ in remembrance of Biafra fallen Heroes who were victims of a military exercise, Operation Python Dance 1.

The group, on Friday, through its deputy leader, Engineer Uche Mefor, said a minute silence will be observed by 12 noon across South Eastern region and all over the world.

Nigeria military had on 14 September 2016 carried out a military exercise, Operation Python Dance 1, in Afara Ukwu, the community of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu claiming lives of 28 persons and many others were whisked away, the group said.

In his statement, he prayed the victims and those killed during the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War rest in the bosom of the Most High God.

He reaffirmed, because of the department souls, Biafra will be restored in their honour and never to be abandoned.

In his words: “The information regarding ‘Saboteur Day’, tomorrow, 14th September 2019 is authentic.

“A minute silence at 12 noon shall be observed for our fallen heroes who lost their lives on 14th September 2017 at the Afara-Ukwu residence of leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Please, note that this not sit-at-home order.

“May their souls and the souls of more than 3million Biafran lives massacred in the past and present Nigerian state-sponsored genocidal war of extermination of the Biafran population continue to rest in the bosom of the Most High God, but may they never rest where their murderers and those who in any way were complicit in that heinous crime are.

“Because of them, we shall never abandon this cause, Biafra must be restored on their behalf and in their honour!”
