The victim was kidnapped from Kujama Village in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. Police said.
Developing reports said unknown armed men have kidnapped Mrs Aishatu Muhammad, the Director of Personnel Management with Kaduna Sharia Court of Appeal.
While confirming this to newsmen on Thursday, Spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, Yakubu Sabo, said the victim was kidnapped from Kujama Village in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. Channels TV reports.
Yakibu also revealed that the yet to be identified gunmen killed Muhammad’s son during the incident, on Wednesday.
The Police Division in Sabon Tasha, quickly dispatched personnel to the area to evacuate the remains of the victim’s son to the hospital, immediately report reched them. Yakubu said.
Afterwards, he said a combined team of security operatives, including the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Command and local vigilantes, were later deployed in the area.
Security operative, according to Yakubu, have been keeping watch on the area for possible rescue of the victim and to apprehend the suspected kidnappers.
