Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the ongoing killing of IPOB members in Ebony state, said their death must be avenged.
In a social post on his Facebook page Thursday, the IPOB leader said both the state governor, David Umahi, Fulani Herdmen and all in collaboration to kill members in the state will sooner than later account for it.
In his words: “The brutalization of our people in Ebonyi will surely be AVENGED.
“This is a formal notice to all, including Miyetti Allah & Dave Umahi that sooner than later, they will account for every injury, torture, and death of every Biafran.
How, when & where is left for us to determine.”
Kanu, has been on 10-day diplomatic tour to Washington DC.
IPOB had raised an alarm over continued attacks by the joint security operatives in Ebonyi state, accused the state governor bias.
In a press statement on Wednesday signed by the group’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, said the state governor will protest against the killer herdsmen in public and bargain with them behind to kill Biafrans.
